Papa Stour at The Country Living Fair

My Indian Slipper Cushions and Chinese Junk Table Runners are going on a trip without me next weekend to the Country Living Fair taking place in Glasgow. Papa Stour an amazing online boutique for scottish craft and design will be taking a stand at the event and I promise you that you'll find some amazing gift ideas at the event so why not take a trip (check out the Papa Stour website for how to get cheaper tickets to the event). If you can't make it to Glasgow that weekend then you should have a look at the Papa Stour website, I promise you won't be disappointed!

I've been published...

...well sort of! You will find glimpses of my Chinese Junks Table Runner in the current issue of Coast, in the Coastal Weddings Section.
I suppose the hardest thing about photographing the table runner is that it is hard to show it off when you're having to photograph other bits and pieces too! But you can catch a glimpse of it under these lovely napkins above.
And it's hanging off the end of the table on these two photos...it is a beautiful set up though, I love all the glass...so pretty. And as Coast says 'Life is better by the sea', which has to be true as I love going to the seaside.
And I am name checked below...so my first published claim to fame! If you want to see the table runner in all its glory then you can check it out at the Papa Stour website...beautiful pictures taken by Rosie Brown. Feel free to get in touch with me if you want any more information too.

Decor8 Blog

Holly Becker over at the decor8 blog has been blogging about the upcoming Selvedge Spring Fair (only 3 weeks to go!), with pretty images and links to all the exhibitors. Holly has a lovely eye for design detail and manages to find some lovely source imagery, so make sure to have a look through some of her older posts to see what has been catching her eye!

And if you head over to the selvedge blog then there is a chance to win three laundry bags by Mini McGhee in association with the Papa Stour exhibitors at the Spring Fair. All you need is the answer to the best way to remove grass stains to be in with a chance to win...all the competitions are open until April 6th (including GraceInk).

Papa Stour

Papa Stour is one of those great little finds if you have ever had the pleasure to stumble across it, as I did several years ago. Bringing together the finest contemporary craft designer-makers based in Scotland, it has a huge range of unique and beautiful household items, stationary and jewellery which would make the perfect gift for friends, family or even yourself!
And I now have the pleasure of announcing I am one of their newest recruits with a selection of my current work available for sale from the Papa Stour website...so make sure to pop along not just to check out GraceInk but the other wonderful design work they have to offer.

And one last thing, new design work at Papa Stour has been recently blogged about at the design sponge blog (which if you're not already a fan of, you should really visit the possibility) www.designspongeonline.com/2010/07/new-at-papa-stour.html
